One of the staff at my DD's nursery has kindly agreed to babysit for us this weekend. What is the going rate per hour for qualified babysitters on a weekend evening?

I want to be fair to her (she's excellent, DD loves her and I trust her) but also don't want to set an unrealistic precedent as I would hope to be able to ask her back again.

Any thoughts?

Hi whenever we have used a baby sitter in Arabian Ranches (when our helper was away on holiday) we used to pay them AED 25 an hour and I would pick them up and drop them off, but if they don't live close to you then I suppose you just pay for their transport. These ladies wouldn't be from an agency though, they were just friends helpers who were free on a night we wanted to go out.
