Three pediatricians have all left American Hospital recently and they're the good ones I used to go to. I'm very annoyed to say the least ... its not easy changing doctors. Any recommendations for good pediatricians?

We used to have both Dr Dardari and Dr Sanchita and were devastated when they left. Our little one has a problem with her kidney and they treated her brilliantly. We heard that Dr Sanchita had gone to AD and Dr Dardari has gone to set up the Paeds department at the new Al Zahra Hospital in Al Barsha. However, I also have to recommend the new doctor at AH, Dr Sridhar. He is amazing and very knowledgeable. He has a fantastic manner with children and takes time to go over their previous notes.

Thanks for the information ladies. I don't need Dr. Sanchita's phone number because she will be working in Abu Dhabi and I am living in Dubai. I was hoping she would be working somewhere in Dubai :)

We use Dr Sridhar at the American, and cannot recommend him highly enough. He's always very interested in my DD, and clearly reads her notes before we go in, as he always knows exactly where she's up to (or he has an amazing memory!). We've only had to go in for the routine appointments and vaccinations, save for a bit of reflux, but he always carries out a thorough examination of her and sees where she's up to with her development etc. Hope that helps. I did notice a lot of Paeds at AH had left.

It's not just the pediatricians who have left, there are quite a few others as well, my understanding was there was a lot of politics and contract issues... I have Dr Sanchita's number and I called her to ask if she minds me giving it out, so if you want message me shannon 103084 at yahoo dot com ... However she is working in Abu Dhabi now starting Jan. 2... She is referring her old patience to Dr. Omar at American Hospital but if I remember correctly I personally didn't care for him (I THINK he is the guy I saw when Dr Sanchita was away on holiday) If anyone has a good pediatrician they would recommend in Dubai please let me know.
