Emirates Airline will not be suspending all flights over Coronavirus concerns.

Major flight carrier Emirates Airline firmly dismissed online speculation that all flights will be cancelled from March 17.

As the UAE announced that most entry visas will not be available from March 17 as a precautionary initiative against the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), rumours began appearing online that all Emirates flights will be suspended.

"Emirates confirms that there is no truth to the rumours circulating on social media that the airline will be suspending all flights on 17 March," the official tweet read.

Passengers and other customers have been urged by the airline company to refer to their website for further flight updates related to the virus outbreak.

Dubai International (DXB) Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) has also responded to online rumours that all operations to and from UAE have been suspended.

Dubai Airports took to their official Twitter account, stating: "We can confirm that the rumours circulating on social media around the suspension of all flights to & from the UAE are untrue. Both DXB & DWC continue to welcome travellers from a number of countries. "

Both airports are still in operation and are welcoming passengers from across the globe.
