We hate to break it to you, but that time of year you hate the most is now upon us. Don't worry, you're not the only one. With schools now finishing, Ramadan almost over and the midday break now in place for workers, it's official: Dubai's summer has arrived.

It reached 50.5°C in Mezaira, near Liwa in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

And to top it all off, the humidity reached an uncomfortable 62% in Dubai.
