All physicians wishing to come to the UAE to acquire this licence need do is obtain a Letter of Acceptance - which validates their eligibility to work as a physician - and enter into a contract with a clinical facility.
Not only that, holders of the "Visiting Doctor's Licence" will also be able to sponsor their families during the licence's validity period.
Currently, visiting doctors can only obtain a three month licence. It allows them to practice temporarily in the free zone through a licence obtained by the clinical facilities. They can opt to extend by an additional three months if they wish.
