Each week, the green lawn of Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection transforms into a Jazz haven for music lovers to enjoy as it becomes home to The Jazz Garden.

Bringing live performances from international jazz, blues, and contemporary artists from all around the world on a weekly basis, The Jazz Garden is a new entertainment concept that was first introduced in Dubai back in 2017. Since the event series has brought Dubai residents the opportunity to witness mesmerising performances by international artists like Denise King, Roy Young, Veronique Hermann-Sambin, Chanda Rule, Ronald Baker, and Faby Medina.

On March 12 and 13, the series will be bringing Karmen Moxie to Dubai and you can enjoy FREE access to both evenings by simply registering ahead.

Hailing from California, Karmen Moxie is a jazz and blues singer. She was the lead singer for her band called the Phatbacks, as they performed all over the state. In 2004, she toured with MWF and performed for the American troops in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Africa. She performed with Stevie Wonder at the Orange Bowl's Jazz Festival in 2003, and in 2015, 2107, and 2018 she performed as a black vocalist for Jill Scott at the Orange County Blues Concert.

In 2013, she participated in "The Voice of Russia", Team Pelageya and Alexander Gradsky. She still holds the record for being the first and only American to make it to the finals in the competition. Her favorite singers are Chaka Khan, Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson. You can learn more about her on her website at karmenmoxie.com.

What else is happening at The Jazz Garden?

As an exclusive casual concept, the series offers a premier set stage and the best of live entertainment from all over the world in a cool relaxed ambiance along with assorted international street food kiosks, cider bars, and beverage stations.

Registrants can grab a bean bag or a picnic table, you can also get your own camping chair and blanket or you can book your table for a minimum spends for four people.

At the arrival, a stretch of arts and crafts stalls are set to welcome the vibrant crowd from handmade jewelry and home accessories, paintings and distinct designed outwear. Don’t leave the night without marking it with The Jazz Garden rose from the Arabic henna booth. Also, don’t miss your selfie as all this lie in front of the beautifully lit skyscrapers of the Dubai Marina serving as the perfect backdrop and use the hashtag #thejazzgardendubai.

The Jazz Garden will run until the first weekend of April 2020 and offers live performances from international jazz, blues, and contemporary artists from all around the world. Doors open at 7.30 pm and close at 12 am - last orders are at 11:45 pm, and live music begins at 8.30 pm.

The Jazz Garden is finally back as a new permanent open-door venue in the heart of Dubai Marina at the Habtoor Grand Resort, offering a wide variety of affordable Food & Beverage outlets.
