Every year on December 2, the UAE celebrates its National Day with a public holiday along with cultural events, air shows, live performances, music, food stalls, parades... and jaw-dropping fireworks displays! Residents and visitors alike can look forward to yet another round of spectacular UAE National Day fireworks shows at several spots across Dubai and the other emirates.
As these locations can get quite crowded, especially as it'll be a four-day long weekend from November 30 to December 2 for those who have Saturdays and Sundays off, we recommend planning ahead!

Global Village - Daily until December 3
In addition to their regular shows on Friday November 29 and Saturday November 30, Global Village will be marking the UAE's 53rd National Day 2024 with daily fireworks displays until December 3.
The Beach, Jumeirah Beach Road (JBR) - December 1
The night sky along The Beach, JBR, will light up to commemorate UAE National Day 2024, on Sunday December 1 at 8PM.
Bluewaters Island Dubai - December 1
You'll be able to see the Eid Al Etihad fireworks at Bluewaters Island Dubai this Sunday at 8PM.
Riverland Dubai Parks & Resorts - December 1 and 2
Residents and tourists can head to Riverland at Dubai Parks & Resorts, a free-to-enter family-friendly destination that's modelled after medieval French villages. There will be two national day fireworks displays on December 1 and 2, at 7PM and 9:30PM.
Hatta Dubai - December 2
Hatta is a hotspot for thrilling mountain activities and outdoor camping. As it'll be further away from the city, you can marvel at the UAE National Day 2024 fireworks in Dubai with less light pollution, starting at 8PM.
Dubai Festival City Mall - December 2
Head to Dubai Festival City Mall on December 2 to watch the night sky sparkle with fireworks. The show will kickstart at around 9PM, so be sure to get there early!
Al Seef Dubai - December 3
Enjoy a leisurely walk along Al Seef Dubai's waterfront promenade this Eid Al Etihad and watch a fantastic fireworks show from 9PM. If you're early enough, there are several restaurants and cafes you can relax in, have a meal, or sip on a drink, before the show starts!

UAE National Day gets new name
UAE National Day is also known as Union Day, and more recently, Eid Al Etihad as its new official name as per the country's organising commitee.
