I am new to Abu Dubai. We have a three and half year boy and family are coming over for Xmas. I am trying to plan smth for the Xmas holidays. Wanted to know how is best to celebrate Xmas in Abu Dhabi with the extended family?brunch with a Santa ? Christmas Carols? Please help me.

Ok, do you have any contact details for them ..what are the requirements to being a member? just google the club you will get all the information you need. you need to get nominations, but they usually have just as long waiting lists as the schools, as its only a little place with a limited number of people allowed etc. we used to be members years ago, the facilitites werent up to much, but over the last few years they have improved, but they cannot do much with location its right next to the port. its the british club so there is always a lot of stuff being organised, but you do not need to be a member if you know someone they can sign you in and you can pay for the day or the event etc. in order to get to be a member its done on demographics ie its usually more difficult to get in with 2 adults and kids etc, if you are single etc you will have a much easier time some people in the past have had to wait 2 years etc. memberships are renewed in the new year, so places may become available if people have left at xmas etc.

The Club/British Club seems to have a lot of Christmas events on (if I was here, that is where I would be going as they look fab!) I am pretty sure you need to be signed in by a member though so you might need to to check with friends to see if anyone is.
