Hi Confusion! We are most definitely twins as I have become so lazy too. I have been told to lose some weight and know that I want to be in tip top shape before a pregnancy but boy oh boy have I stopped exercising for the past 2 months now. Sigghhh. I am not sure why. Yes that awful vintage! and low AMH. I asked Dr Munira about natural IVF and read a lot about it online and it sounds very good but requires careful monitoring and I think Fakih is the only one doing it. Online searches have thrown up some very useful information .... seems it allows for natural selection of the best egg. What is a hysteroscopy? I'll google it and check it out. I feel somehow that life is on hold until we get pregnant.... and has been on hold for ages now. Does that make sense? Where do you stay? Im in the Marina. No car but do get around on the metro

Hi Hilsbils! Yes we must - how funny! :) I havent got a clear answer as yet but Dr Fakih has suggested a hysteroscopy and having done a lot of research into this it was something I was also edging towards anyway. Therefore, lets see and hope and pray! Then we can take the next steps. I am a real wimp and I can tell you that the injections were absolutely FINE. My dh did them for me each morning and he was amazing - sometimes I had to ask if they were done! I was on a very high dosage (which I suspect you may be too as correct me if im wrong but think you said you also have low amh and are my 'vintage'?) and I have to say that I had no problems at all. I was a little bloated and tired sometimes but I blame that on the fact that I stopped exercising and had got lazy (correction HAVE got lazy :) ) Its such a hard and worrying time but we have to keep the faith. Remember I got pregnant twice and was v similar to you and despite the fact I clearly have a little problem which needs sorting and I am now very positive that it will happen just unsure when. It does work! It may not work first time but I so hope you are in a position to want to keep at it. It will be worth it! Do let me know how to contact you if you'd like to meet up. I've been through all the ups and downs and have met a couple of amazing ladies on my journey (through here) and without their support I think I would have crumbled recently. It's a hard and private process so always good to bounce off others going through it. Lots of luck xxx

Hi Confusion..... we must be the same person?! Typing at the same time. Did you get to find out why things werent 'sticking'? (forgive my crude description - its what Dh and I say every month) Did you have it resolved? Im going to start with Dr Munira on next cycle and then have transfer done at Conceive. Were the injections painful and did you have any side effects - hormones, pain etc during that week? Best of luck. Im excited but really worried, cautious because there is only a 50/50 chance. Maybe less. Im also equally terrified of it working :-) but in a good way <em>edited by hilsbils on 12/07/2012</em>

Hi Tashabegood Yes I did accupuncture and would recommend it 100% I have had 2 BFP's from IVF and whilst sadly they havent lasted that is due to other issues. I firmly believe that accupuncture helped tremendously in getting my BFP's. I would highly recommend Dr Ou as she is so experienced in IVF patients and is very knowledgeable in this area. She will come to your house and is very flexible. Her number is 0506328378. Out of interest where are you doing your IVF? Hi ladies I have read lots of recommendations for Dr Ou who comes to your house and is a pro for acupuncture and fertility. I rang her yesterday to find out if she would see me before we do IVF next cycle (GULP) and she will come to me once a week til then. She was honest in saying that in my case the acupuncture will only help overall health and that for acupuncture to really work it needs to be done for some months in advance. I found her very switched on and knowledgeable on the phone. She charges 250 aed per visit. I have heard from other sources that acupuncture can be very beneficial for fertility. Dr Eade at Dubai Mall medical centre is very clued up and also does acupuncture for fertility. Done IVF, no acupuncture, no excercise, just pregnacare tablets and DHA tablets and lots of talking to my belly....like a mad woman! Lol
