Hi ladies,
a friend of ours has a 3 hour stopover in AUH tomorrow, and we are driving down from Dubai to have some breakfast together before he returns to Australia.
Where would you recommend as the best place to eat in or very close to AUH.
He only has 3 hours here, and seems a bit nervous about going to far.
TIA

Panino' or Panini, forgot the exact name in Terminal 3 at airport is nice. Three hours isn't really that long to go out airport for a brekkie especially as he has to do customs, security and passport control again. However as the other ladies have suggested the best option out of airport & closest - should he wish to go out, is the golf club.

There is a Caribou Coffee at Masdar City, I don't think they serve full on breakfast but would have pastries, sandwiches and quiches. It is also a pretty cool place to see...it is really close to the airport.

If he will leave the airport take him to the Shangri la and sit outside overlooking the Grand Mosque. It really is a beautiful view. If he wont leave the airport there are cafes inside the terminal. Otherwise Mugg and Bean at Etihad plaza just outside the airport in KCA does a decent breakfast. imo mugg and bean arent the best, had many a disappointing meal there recently, remember the "rock scones".

There's a Mugg and Bean at Etihad Plaza which is very close to the airport (opposite the Etihad training centre) and it seems to be really popular, really only 5 minutes outside of the airport.
