Curious to see if any one of you have since registered at this school? We'll be moving to Dubai shortly and this is one of the schools we've applied to for my DD who is 4 and will be entering KG2. They have asked to set up an assessment, now just waiting to find the exact day we'll be there and I can secure a day for this.
I didn't register in this school but if your DD is 4 then she will be going to KG1 in American Academy for Girls.
I have since decided that I will not register my DD at this school for KG 1, mainly because of the long day. I find it too long for a KG 1 student, especially since they rest for one hour in the afternoon. I may enroll her in the future though.

I assume KG1 is for children who have turned 4 before September 1st?
The AAG cut-off date states that all KG1 children must turn 4 in the year they start school, i.e. 4 years old before December 31st...
KG1 is from 8 to 1.55 they have many things to do during the day based on their timetable. They do English, math, ict, PE, swimming, art Arabic every day as I knew! Every month they have an assembly to show their parent what theta were taught and certificates are given to the girls based on achievement of the theme they had and the goal they reach respect or inspire and so on.
Kg2 is up to 3. I really loved the school! And I will advice you to register as soon as possible. As they fill so quickly"
It's a nice school with good facilities. The class sizes are good too: 2 adults for 20 students. My only reservation is that the KG1 day is long - 8 am - 3 pm. I'd like to know how they fill up that day and I am waiting for a response from the school about that.
