Andrea, I've just come back from seeing my sick mother in London and didn't do much shopping (long story, mis time had by all, my lost suitcase surfaced at 8.30pm the night before I was returning to Dubai ), but did bring back Sainsburys Taste the Difference crumpets which daughter absolutely adores (and bear no relation to the stuff you can occasionally buy in Spinneys), so if you have room, as many packets of them as you can carry would be wonderful! Also, I forgot about proper vanilla essence but amn't sure if that is legal and don't want to lead you astray! Thank you so much for your kind gesture, am ashamed I didn't think of doing something similar when I went back, though my circs were a bit odd..

That is SO sweet of you. Tempted to take you up on your offer. I needed one or two cans of campbells condensed cheddar cheese soup.... and a small bag of nestle butterscotch chips. Must admit as i am new to Dubai havent looked beyond the local Spinneys for them so if anyone knows if and where these are avilable here please let me know. Andrea please let me know if this is possible and also need to know where in Dubai you live to arrange logistics and payment. TIA
