Our deal with the landlord is almost finalized,we will be moving in to Al Falaj area in Sharjah next month.I presently have a maid who is with me from morning to evening, she has shown her reluctance to work in Sharjah(we live in Ajman right now.).I now have to search for a new maid, any ideas how to get a new one?Which agenecies are good for supplying good/ reliable maids and whats the going rate these days for full time live in-not live inn maid??

Good Morning Barbara, I am sorry the maid I spoke about has already secured another position.

Hi Sharjah Sarah - we're looking for a happy loving individual to help in the home and with our ten month old. Can you send me more info on the Indian lady? [email protected]

Hi...been reading this thread. Am also looking to sponsor a full time maid through an agency. If you could share the number for Emirates Labour Supply it would be very helpful. Thanks :-)

Emirates Labour supply in Al Fardan Centre is a good agency. I got my current maid through them, she's been with us for almost 2 years now, & the best I've ever had. I'd also suggest getting someone fresh with no local experience. I had my share of locally hired maids & they all were a pain, lots of expectations, lies, stealing, etc.

I can reccomend a fantastic maid from India. She worked with us for 2 years and then had to return home. her circumstances have now changed and she would love to come. She is Sharjah savvy, loves children and animals. Let me know if you are interested.

I found it very classy and the houses are nice! It's a nice safe family area and also about 5 mins to the Dubai highway :)

well, why not call an agency and have them email you cv's. Better to bring a new fresh-to-uae one, then she cannot complain about being anywhere. I assume you are sponsoring and cancelling the one you have now?
