I have been having issues with EK and tickets they make it harder each year I am sure! Firstly they wanted 19,000dhs as they couldn't do this that and the other with our miles. Then all of a sudden my DH goes onto his account (Gold card member) and viola the price is 9,000dhs !!! Hmm no wonder they have HUGE profits each year.
Sorry I meant to add I am talking skywards miles, but my point was difficulties with EK and bookings.

So I wait a week for Airmiles to give me my E ticket, funny thing I had to use 155,000 points for a BHX- Dubai return, yet a flight out of Dubai would have been 108,000. Anyway I needed to book my grand daughter, EK wouldnt let us make the booking intially as she was travelling on her own, it was explained I was on the flight and she would be travelling with me, for some reason they couldnt tie the 2 ticket ref's together, and wanted us to pay full fare for a 7 year old!!!!!!
Cant pay for her ticket on the phone as the card isnt in her name!!!!!!!( pulling hair out now)so I have had to ask my MIL who isnt well at the moment to run down to BHX to pay for the ticket.
Why oh why cant they make it easier for us.
