Hi, I've just moved recently to Al Badia in the DFC and I'm looking for a lady who can come and help me with the flat for a few hours each day. There may be someone already in Al Badia who can spare their lady or who knows of someone in the area. I have contacted an agency who said that they don't supply housemaids to that area unfortunately. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Trish

do you have a security desk - ask the security guys which maid agencies come into your building and give them a ring and book one of their girls to come in - that way you know they come to the area and you can get some help the easy legal way.

Hi Trish, Looking at your number of posts, I am guessing you might be new to Dubai and EW as well? So just in case you don't already know, what you've asked is illegal here in Dubai, and carries a huge fine (I know for sure not too long ago that it was 50,000dhs, but have heard that it has gone up to 100,000). Also, I believe that the maid could get jailed and then deported. Anyway, not judging, but figured if you really didn't know, you might want to :)
