I really recommend the Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa. Close to anywhere in Dubai yet still really feels like you are getting away. I've only stayed in the Palm Tree Court and Spa part of it which has nice big rooms and easy access to pools/beach. Not sure what the main hotel is like.

Only do it if you are going to enjoy it. What about one of the Dubai hotels or Bab al shams?

Hi all my sister comes to visit in Feb for a week and has kindly offered to look after my DD (16 months) for a night or two if DH and I would like to get away for a break. This would be our first time break away from DD (am choosing not to count a night we had while home for Christmas when we were woken by twin babies screaming at 6am in the Hotel Room across from ours) and would like it to be nice/luxurious without necessarily breaking the bank. Any and all suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated. We don't want to go too far from Dubai, two hour drive max just in case we need to get back. Also have done Fujariah to death in the past so anywhere else?? Thanks all, Curly
