Mine are either at the bottom of my wardrobe or in a pile on a shelf somewhere, so I need to get them organised. I'd love just to be able to go straight to the handbag I want every time! How do you organise your bags?

I had a wonderful cabinet made for my shoes, maybe something similar should be made for the handbags as well since those are really hear and there... (evening ones hidden inside Ikea footstool etc)

i bought a wardrobe for them.....I hope they are all originals;) Am ashamed to say 2 are karama specials but are falling apart... all the rest are originals, including a few Lulu Guiness quirky ones :)

I bought a hat stand from Ikea and hook all my bags around it. The expensive ones in the cover bags I hang by the drawstrings and my clutchbags I pile them up and balance them between the top 'arms'. It takes up hardly any space and is easy to locate which bag I want.

I saw something in a magazine recently where there was a long piece of fabric with 'loops' that you can slide your handbags into and this would hang on the back of a door. Similar to a shoe holder I guess.! I think i've got smth similar from Ikea a while ago

I hang the smaller ones by their handles off hooks screwed to the inside of the cupboard door. Larger ones in fabric bags and tissue paper stuffing the insides. As for organising the inside, I tip it out about twice a week on to my desk, stick the receipts on a spike in my filing cupboard, chuck the rubbish, stash the lipsticks (they breed in there you know),and start all over again. Takes 2 mins really. Tissues, mints, hand sanitizer, that sort of thing in a small bag to make it easy to transfer stuff from one to another. But still can never find my ****ing phone. :(

Alternatively, can you not get clear boxes and stick a picture of the bag on the front and perhaps group them together according to evening, day, tote etc? and then by colour if you have a pile of them? Sorry, I use one bag everyday and only swap to an evening one on the very rare occasion that we go out!

Most of mine are all on top of each other in a large cardboard box! The expensive ones are stuffed with tissue paper and stored in their cloth bags on a shelf in my cupboard but I really need a solution for the others. Maybe time for a clearout. My sisters never say no to hand me downs!

If your bags came with a sleeper bag make sure you are using them to protect the leather and this way it's easy to tell which bag is which. If you don't have any sleeper bags you can easily make them at home from a soft cloth material. If you make them in different colours, you will know what's inside. Also, remember to put tissue paper in the bags before storing them so they hold their shape.
