Deliver the yummiest bread to my doorstep every morning! What a fantastic idea.

My neighbors (who I don't know, but I see their truck in their driveway) have something to do with Swiss Cottage - anyways, this week, I finally got nosy enough to look them up and placed my standing order ...

If only I could get them to deliver milk and meat alongside, I wouldn't have to make a daily trip to Spinneys!

I've seen Swiss Cottage bread at Aswaaq market in Umm Suqueim. We bought a wholemeal loaf to try it out.

I used to have them only once a week, and was still stockpiling. I stopped delivery, because I found they now supply to Geant at Ibn Battuta. Probably some other places, too? Now it's at my pace, still just as good and fresh, or better, since I'm not freezing the extras.

Give the extra bread to the birds, they will come to your garden everyday once you start.

Yeah get them to deliver every other day - you don't have to have it every day!

Although now I'm drowning in bread! I get a new loaf every morning and I feel obliged to use it somehow. Bread pudding? French Toast? Bread Crumbs? Oooh, this is not going to be good for my post-baby diet! Why not just slow the order down to every couple of days and put some in the freezer?

Ive used them now for almost 4 years and they are excellent and the bread is always delivered early in time for lunch boxes to be made with freshly baked bread - always recommend them. I also highly recommend earlybird delivery for water and soft drinks they come ever week on a set day for free delivery or you can order same day for delivery fir a small charge - again a completely reliable service nd have used thm for about the same time. edited by Clairehdp on 27/01/2011
