OMG are you serious? 9AED for 6... That is around 45cents per can Australian isn't it??? Holy smoke! We pay about $3 (10AED) for one can here! Is all soft drink that cheap there? Are other foods and groceries that cheap too? Gobsmacked! Thought it would be [i'>more [/i'>expensive over there... Yes it is so much cheaper for soft drink! Could not believe how cheap my beloved Pepsi Max was over here!

I noticed this week that the price in Coop, Choitrams and Aswaaq for a six pack of Coke has gone up to 9 aed. I thought it used to be 6 aed. If so, this is an increase of 50%. However Early Bird are now charging 7.50 aed (increased from 6.50 aed I think) which includes delivery. yes they went up a couple of weeks ago, it was mentioned a lot in the press/radio. it was pepsi that in fact put price up and coke followed suit. they have been at the cheap price of 1dhs for years and years.
