Faces of loss - faces of hope
For women like me who have experieced loss of a child during pregnancy or as an infant (even infertility) - I have found this website so incredibly helpful in dealing with grief and seeing I'm not alone. I hope it will help you or someone you know who has been through this traumatic experience too.
So often we walk around thinking we alone! We are not alone - there is support for us! Often close family and friends especially if they haven't experienced grief like yours, don't know what to say and end up really not comforting like they wish they could. It just makes everything worse.
I also want to add - if you know anyone who's gone through trauma like this, I know often you just ''avoid'' cos you don't want to add to that persons pain or just feel awfward. Please don't do that. Sometimes it's okay to say nothing and just show that person you are there for them.
There are practical ways of helping too. Cooking a meal or getting groceries. In the end if we don't show eachother love and support - what do we have?
