Hi,

Can anyone recommend where I can get a decent pedometer from??
I just want a basic one that will calculate how far I go when I go for a run. Nothing to complex or expensive!!

Also- can anyone recommend any nice running routes that start off from the Greens- for about 10-15K

Thanks

I used Google earth to mark out my routes... sometimes there is a danger its not updated...but i have always used it for routes around Mirdif. Can you run out towards the springs? i think the roads are a bit more dangerous out that way though

Do you have an ipod? if so, get the Nike run adaptor, it clips into your ipod (or is pre-installed with newer versions) and then a little chip goes in your trainers. It's fab.

I used to do a big loop from tecom, through greens, into springs and around the back of Emirates hills. Took about 2 hrs walking at a good speed if I recall, so maybe just under 15km. Head into emirates hills near the school, think it's DIA.
