What is the jazz fest like here in dubai? Looking at the TimeOut article, and it seems more like a series of concerts than a festival type atmosphere (with a variety of musical stands, food stands, shopping posts, etc.)? Any info appreciated

If you are Skywards member there is 10% off on all tickets if purchased via skywards website. Otherwise yes, it is festival like, good atmosphere.

thanks...Do you know if both are included in one ticket price? the "ground" area as well as the concert/main stage area? edited by DxbMe on 04/02/2011 Yes - you pay for the ticket and you are free to wander around all the areas - except the VIP and corporate areas

There are different performance areas - and food tents - it does have a small festival feel to it but the big names perform at the main stage. can't really remember about shopping as that never interests me but I think there were a few stalls selling stuff..... it's a good night out.
