Manage to find time to pump once your LO's grow, sleep less and require more attention? DD2 is 3 weeks adjusted and has suddenly become more alert and awake during the day. However, on account of her reflux, she is uncomfortable or even in pain when awake and wants to be held all the time, so much so, that I am finding it a challenge finding the time to express.... how do you do it?

Thank you yes! I've now realised I have to be a bit more ingenious! I have a hospital grade medela pump as well as a pump n style. I can just use the pump in style whilst walking with DD around the house! Great tip! Thanks again! Hope it can work for you LD! It took a while for me to get the "rhythm" right, but eventually got there! I would just sing to her or distract her if she starts getting fussy on the shoulder! Put her down for 5min to detach the pump, unscrew the bottle or take off the milk bag and store it in the fridge/freezer! If she kicks off during this time - then so be it x

I don't exclusively pump, however pump regularly. What pump are you using LD? When DD has a cranky day & wants to be only on Mummy's arm - I clip the pump on, attach the "machine" to my pants/trousers, freeing my hands which means I can still hold her! So basically - baby on one side and pump on the other :) We bought the Medela Freestyle (twin pumps) and it has been a lifesaver and one of the best purchases we have made! Not sure if that has helped?! Thank you yes! I've now realised I have to be a bit more ingenious! I have a hospital grade medela pump as well as a pump n style.
