Your post doesn't say how old your LO is but if on a scheduled routine shoud be eating consistently every 2/3/4 hours and taking the amount for their age. Offering littles bits at a time encourages snacking and will therefore less likely to eat a full meal meaning more expense and less rest for you. Start at breakfast and offer a full feed then look for feeding cues IE sucking hand, crankyness and try to work out if baby is hungry or are you using food to pacify when could be crying for another reason? Good luck!
Hello Nutty, DS turns 1 year tomorrow :) i was purely asking about the milk feeds the formula as sometimes he finishes it all & sometimes decides to just take little & wait before he finishes, i was concerned how long can i keep this milk before i decide its time to discard & make a new feed! As Shelly said guess 1 Hour it is! :)
I only keep it for 1 hour. After that whatever DD hasn't finished is discarded. If she wants more after the 1hr then I mix up a new bottle. With formula, I don't care about wastage and would never run the risk of keeping it longer than 1hr.
Hi Shelly, currently am following the same route currently discard after keeping for one hour even if not finished :)

Hi Ladies,
I've read through the instructions given on my DS formula can & it says un-used milk must be trashed immediately & new to be made for the next feed. There are times when darling son would just sip for a bit & then refuse to take the rest of it, i was wondering how long is it safe to re-use rather re- feed?
