Has any of you ladies paid with credit card for Cathay Pacific tickets for a person who's not travelling with you?
I mean - buying a ticket online for our nanny (to Philipines),
would this be possible?
or should I rather take a journey to their office in person?
I know some airlines allow you to buy ticket for someone else,
I haven't found proper info on their website?
TIA

Otherwise you will have to go to the airport and check her in where they will want to verify the CC. I was called all the way home (from Springs) to the airport....nearly missed her flight!

Just call them up once ticket is issued. They will email you an authorization form. You fill it in, sign and email them back. All safe then for your maid to travel without you or showing your credit card on checking in. edited by amleite on 10/03/2011

And when you go into their office to pay for the flight make sure you have heaps of time. Their ticketing system is somewhat prehistoric and when DH went in to pay for our tickets when we last traveled he was there for a good hour and then some.
