I have a hankering to do a tour where you get to ride a camel for a few hours at least-some sort of camel safari I guess-don't want to combine it with dune bashing though. Anyone done this? I googled but would prefer recommendations from someone who has done it recently.

Gulf Ventures offers Camel Polo but a minimum of 7 people (I think) are needed. Camel Polo sounds fasinating, have never tried it myself. sounds lethal!!! :D

I suffered thru an approximately 1 hour ride in Al Ain - I'll swear never again... Was black and blue in all unspeakable places! Ugh!!! I probably have more fat to cushion me though!
