Hi kellsbells, if you don't mind me asking, how did you work out that the Aramex would cost AED900? My friend and I have been trying to order the Baby Jogger City Select (another great looking double pram) but the Aramex shipping was coming to around AED3,000. (just looked at the shipped weight from the pram website). I also like the P&T so if the shipping is only AED900 then we might just get that one. Thanks!

Thanks Ladies for all your help. Am now waiting for some companies to get back to me from the States as the buggy with all the trimmings is about 1800dhs there. Have also contacted the NZ site so waiting for them to email back. Thanks Kellsbells for your lovely offer! I have shop n ship already but think hubby may kill me if I use it to ship the stroller :) Will let you know how it works out :)

I think I'm the friend meals is refering to ;-) Yes, I was going to use Kiddiecare and S n S. You can check the price on the Kiddiecare website an the shop n ship was going to cost just under 900 dhs. In the end I got one off Dubizzle. It was in fab condition and got it at a really great price. So I'm happy. There was another one available a few weeks back that was in great condition-but it was 1000dhs more then I paid. If u want to go the Kiddiecare route, let me know and I'm happy for you to use my shop n ship account if u don't have one.

http://shop.philandteds.com/ This is the site I ordered from. It did come from NZ however, the prices listed are in $US. I use the doubles kit with the car seat attached, however, it's not recommended as it makes it back-heavy and could fall over backwards. I am just cautious with not letting go of the handle when they're both in there (my DS3 is quite heavy tho! So even though the car-seat and attachment are kinda heavy I'm super cautious)! It's certainly not a small pram by any means! But it's so convenient! A friend was looking at buying one from the UK through the kiddicare website as HAK mentioned - I think she was going to use shop and ship - but I'm not sure if she worked out whether it was cheaper that way or with the NZ site. :)

Thanks Meals! You don't remember what site by any chance? Can the Dash take the double kit and car seat, all at once ? I have a 7 year old and a two year old and now baby coming along so defo need something that will fit in the two little ones for school runs and general running around! I looked at the Kolcraft one today and it's MASSIVE!

No - They arranged delivery straight to my door. I think (from memory) it was Aramex that they deliver with (from the NZ site). I just paid the duty charges to the delivery guy. I had to email my passport copy a few days before for clearance. It was very easy and here within 10 working days! :) ETA I bought the dash - and got the carseat adaptor that works with the maxi-cosi capsule. I can't tell you how much easier it's made life with my other two and all the running around I do. edited by meals on 20/03/2011

Thanks ladies, was looking online last night. The States are cheaper than the Uk and the NZ site from P&T is down. Didn't even think to try and ship it here! Just thought it would be a hassle! had a look at a couple on Dubizzle but they're not the explorer and quite shabby. I want the explorer coz you can use the carseat and back seat at the same time. I'll have a 2.5 year old and a new born at the end of June. It just seems like the best pushchair to accomadate both of them at the moment.

HAK is right - you could look on Dubizzle, a friend just bought one on there for a great price. Also check out Good Baby - they used to stock them. Otherwise - we ordered ours from their NZ website and had ir delivered here. Free delivery - just had to pay duty which was around Dh270

Dubai is rubbish for P&Ts and even when you can get them, they're twice the price of the UK! Have you got anyone coming over from the UK shortly, who could do you the immense favour of bringing one over? Kiddicare do some of the best prices around, but don't deliver internationally.

Hiya anyone know where I can buy the P&T Explorer here? MotherCare in Dubai Mall has discontinued P&Ts.
