why is my baby no longer sleeping??

My son is 5months in 12 says and for the last 3 weeks he wakes up every 2 hours. And wants to eat and them wont go back to slepe unges i have spent 30 min singning and rocking him back to sleep. From he was 2 months he used to sleep 7 hours in a stretch wake up for a feed and then back to sleep with no fuss!! Whats going on???
