Thanks HAK. I'm hoping that we won't need them too long before mister realizes that he needs to go before he actually goes :)
haha - that will depend on the child!
We used them with DD, and rather than helping her learn, they helped me keep calm and minimise washing... for her, only time and her own will stopped her having accidents!
Mothercare also do white ones in packs of 3 - still really expensive, but slightly less so (per item) than for the themed ones.
The have a cotton outer, with a thin plastic liner and then terry's towelling inner. I found them to be really useful. They're not designed to be able to take a whole wee, but to just not require a whole change of clothes if LO starts before they've got to the loo. As for if they do a poo in them, turn it inside out over the loo so that the contents falls out and then (still holding the pants) flush the toilet so that it gets a good surge of water over it. This is also pretty much the only use I've found for the little showers beside the loos!
It is definitely much more expensive here, as are most things. I am looking at mine right now. It says: Outer: 100% cotton, Lining - 80% cotton, 20% polyester
They are machine washable. Just so you know, they don't hold pee well and it is a real mess to clean up your child when they poop in them.
Sounds the same. ones I have are 60% cotton 40% polyester. They still leak but prevent it from going all over the floor. Luckily haven't had poos in them yet but I'd imagine it would be a mess.

I hope we are talking about the same thing. I got "In the Night Garden" and "Fifi" ones for about 100 dirhams for two.
DH is going to go check tonight. What do they look like material wise? I know back home you buy a pack of two for $10 canadian.

Back home we bought our DS a few pairs of training underwear. Apparently not enough and would like to get some more. They are like normal underwear except they have some extra padding. They are washable and fully cloth not those plastic protective pants. Anyone know if you can find them here?
