I took my maid to our doctor as I panicked... spent a huge amount but then had to go in for appendectomy for which she was reffered to the Rashid hospital as per her health card....

Depending on your location/catchment, you could take her to one of these health centre. When you click the area, you will see the services provided and the fees charged. I think it is free if she has a health card and go to certain hospitals. Not sure.....so far my maid only go to the dentist. http://www.dha.gov.ae/en/Facilities/HealthCenters/Pages/default.aspx

So my maid didn't feel well, yesterday, and we took her to our doctor.... long story short it was very expensive for being very minor. Where do you take your maid if she is sick? Do they have medical insurance from the government or do we have to get her private health insurance? TIA <em>edited by MaxandMe on 29/03/2011</em>
