My friend got the tv and Internet broadband package around 3 months ago. Yesterday I asked him what movies are on VOD (where you can rent movies through the tv) and he said he'd never tried it, so we had a look and the VOD button on the remote wasn't working, and there were no options for it in the tv menu. So he called up etisalat and after lots of passing him around between different departments and being given lots of different explanations he was eventually told that the video on demand feature is not yet available to any customers. Can anyone verify this :o) I thought it strange as we have VOD on du, and wonder if they're just fobbing him off?
Eta he lives in Abu dhabi.
