Hi ;)

I'm looking for ideas to bring friends to kids friendly lunch on Saturday & options to lay by the pool after that. Running out of ideas ...

Thanks for the recommendations ;) Will try Le Royal Meridien. Have been to the Polo Club once and was put off with some of the food on their brunch + there were quite a few very very drunk people (and associated drunk behaviour...) which didn't make it so child friendly (shame as setting was really nice & bouncy castle was fun). Shame :( seems like we just can't escape that here these days! Had the same experience at a couple of places recently. Hope it was just our bad luck and not something that's becoming a problem.

mina si yahi ( sorry if thats spelt wrong ) anyway when i lasst went there they had a lovely infinity pool with swim up bar, a shaded kids pool area if kids are very small, lots and lots of grass around, you can order snack/lunch at the pool or use one of the restaurants inside. very nice.

Hilton Jumeirah has a lovely pool on the ground-floor level with a lovely seafood/meat/vegie BBQ menu [prepared a level down at the beach bar'> and delivered to your table. There are lifeguards on duty, oh and there's a kids' menu which may also take your fancy. And if you feel like wandering down a level, there's access to Jumeirah Beach. Lots of fun. I'm not sure what the day rate is for Saturday [certainly it's less than the Friday price!'> but it's worth checking out.

The Dubai Polo Club has a great pool. Haven't been there myself for lunch but heard from a friend that the food is good! Something a little different from the hotels!
