Thank you all! SB I can't imagine your DD ever being whiny :) Swiss girl, I try to stand my ground, but sometimes the whining just gets to me and I just give in to make her stop :( KC- HAs A been sick as well? Play-date sounds like a great idea :) Also, can we try a play-date but leave the kids behind..lol! And have our "whine" in a glass instead ;) lol!

SIGH. A has become a whiney little pain as well. I dont know what happened over the last two weeks but she is just relentless. Maybe we get them together and their whining will just cancel out? Sending you hugs.

Ah yes. Mine can be little devils too. Always demanding and negotiating. You just have to put your foot down, even if a tantrum follows

Hugs to you AC. Yep, know how that feels. It is a battle of wills. The only solution I had when DD got like that was to be out and about, and to have playdates so the children entertained each other and you could have a cuppa and a chat.

DD who is generally lil miss sunshine has become the whiniest toddler around the place. I was sick 2 weeks back and then she was sick for a week, so she was allowed to get away with anything for the last 2 weeks. Too much tv, tantrums etc. Today we are all finally ok and it has been a nightmare! She brings the remote to me and demands that the TV go on else whines incessantly till I give in ( which I am ashamed to say, today, I did). She throws a tantrum and cries the house down if I get near the comp, has not eaten ( her appetite is still not back)!! Arggggggggggg!!!!!!!
