Does anyone use the Goodsphere bubble in baby's room? Do you think it helps to counteract the dry air caused by the AC? I'm wondering if it's efficient enough, or if I should invest in a proper humidifier. All opinions/suggestions appreciated :-)

Get a proper humidifier. Goodsphere is nice for the smell it releases but not strong enough to properly humidify a room. They have these really nice steam humidifiers at Dragonmart that works great. We got a penguin one for our sons room for 80dhs. Works fantastic.

Hi, we have just moved to Dubai and have two babies. I am still trying to get to grips with the temperatures for them to sleep in etc, and didnt know about the humidifiers. Where do I buy them? Thanks very much, and does anyone know if some are better than others? I have seen some which are clearly for childrens rooms by their design but I dont know if they would be very efficient. thanks!

The goodsphere is fine for when they have a cold - the eucalyptus oil is great - but I don't think they do anything in terms of putting moisture in the air or counteracting the effects of the AC. We recently bought a proper humidifier for DD's room and our room and it's made a world of difference. She's breathing better in her room and I'm not getting up every couple of hours for a drink of water in my room - it's fabulous. HIGHLY recommend it. We did try out the small ones that you get at the pharmacy but the rooms here are too big, it just didn't do enough to humidify the room and I was filling it every 10 hours or so and didn't see much of a difference. When I got the proper big one I was really happy. HTH.

Hi Nix.dubai. I dont have a baby....yet, but I still suggest a proper humidifier for anyone living in dubai. Unless you live at the beach. I know the goodsphere may also have perfumes and smells that may not be the best for baby too... Just a thought.
