Are there any south africans living in dubai who hold dual nationality, with UAE visa in other passport (not in the SA one) and have renewed their passport in the UAE.

Were any questions asked about why your residence visa was not in your SA passport? or do they not take note of this?

Well we are all going in and out of SA without having gone anywhere according to our passports. There are hundreds of thousands of SA's with dual passports which they obtained while refugees so I doubt very much that a noise will be made which might alienate these voters.

I have British and South African passport with my residence visa in my British. Renewed my South African passport recently and they did ask where my residence visa was. Told them it was in my British which didnt worry them at all.

I have my Austrian passport with uae visa and also SA passport....they advised me to renew my SA passport in SA as I don't have my UAE visa in that. How long ago did they advise you this?

The only thing he uses the passport for is to be able to stand in de shorter line when entering and leaving SA... There are many people here in the UAE who have multiple passports, so I don't think it's an issue here.

My DH has 'the green mamba' and a UK passport and when we got our visa it was no problem that he has another passport too. I'm not even sure if they asked or even cared about it.
