On the uk site it says a techno is 280 quid ..are they cheaper here? :@ i was looking the silver crosses in mothercare 1700 dhs mmmmm looks like maclaren might just get that. Did u find the ladies with the side by side ones that because u have a toddler and a baby it isnt good pushing it? as one side will be alot heavier than the other?

Oh and I meant to add that the Maclaren Twin Techno has *tons* of space in the back. I could fit a weekly shop in there! Wished I had of known that before I brought my P&T's.

Ok I got the P&T Dash and tbh its soooo heavy, not good after a section and I have got back problems so lifting the darn thing is a right pain. Also you have to bend down to get baby in and out its not that easy especially when you have the top seat on. However good points you can actually fit a decent amount of shopping underneathe if you go to Spinneys ect on your own and without a trolley. My ds has only sat in the underneathe seat once so far and didnt like it and its hard to get them in and out. Now I only take it if I absolutely have to, I have now ditched the extra seat and babs sits in main bit (seat) and DD just sit's on the front section if she's tired lol. I think looking back it was A WASTE OF MONEY and get a lightweight mclaren twin would be a far better idea.

Can I ask, what is the weight limit for the MTT? I have the P & T Explorer, which is lovely, but it is sooo heavy! My DD is 3 yrs & 18 kg & my 6 mo old is 9 kg, so we have nearly reached the 30kg limit (2 x 15kg) for most double strollers!

Hi fairycakey I got a Maclaren Twin Techno when I had dd2 and it was fab - really light and easy to fold. Plus seats recline fully so they can both sleep if you're lucky. I would say AED1500 is a bit steep for a used one as I think they're not much more than that new. I paid AED1000 for mine as it had hardly been used (seller's older child refused to sit in it) but I would say you could bargain one down to around AED800. Have fun x

I am preggers with no 2 (DD will be 18 months when DS is born) and after all the reasearch I will go for silver cross pop duo. I have bugaboo and maclaren techno for dd, but maclaren's seat isnt quite deep enough and silver cross look much more comfy. Mind you - silver cross fizz (light single) and pop duo (double) are difficult to get in Dubai.
