I thought once the Morning Sickness was over it was all downhill but clearly not! thanks for sharing and giving me those valuable tips. I have been using the breathe easy strips that you put on your nose, they also help but I may have to take the nasal spray :(
Ugggg... that sucks! I've had it since the end-ish of my first trimester and it just won't stop (week 31 now). In the beginning (till after the 12 week mark) i wasnt given anything... had to manage with 'natural'. Maybe try inhaling steam - it clears the airways. Either with nothing in it or with vicks/ecalyptus in it. A hot steam humidifier in your room can help too. havent got around to trying that, but my doctor recommended it. Also, you can get saline nasal rinses/sprays at the pharmacy which can help - i tried that one, helps temporarily.
Lately i've been given Flixonase (its a spray - corticosteriod, and has been cleared by both my GP and Obs for use past first trimester because the absorption is minimal and they say its safer than a panadol). I was asked to use it twice a day for 4 days and then taper it off to once for another 6 days. Havent used it that much.. tend to stop after a couple of days (since it helps quite quickly and i feel better not using meds unless its dire). Maybe its not ideal... since i've had to go in for a couple of sprays since then on several ocassions... but hey i'm more comfortable having a few puffs than staying on it for weeks.
Maybe ask you Obs about this or something similar at your next visit?
good luck... and i hope the steam etc work for you in the meanwhile.
