Hi I gave birth there 3 weeks ago and we were not asked for our I.D cards or our marriage certificates. They only time we had to show our marriage certificate was when we went to register the birth. So as far as I know you don't need it. Good luck

I haven't been asked so far for any I.D all they have wanted to date is my insurance card. I'll be delivering there in 3 weeks so will let you know if they ask for anything. I did do my Emirates ID just incase it's needed to register the birth, so far I don't think it's needed though.
