We got a great helmet from Wolfies bike shop on SZR. They were good and helped us to find one that fit well. My daughter is 2 now and she will always have to wear a helmet when she is on a proper bike! We take her out on the back of our bikes and she knows no helmet no ride!
Most kids dont wear them here but I think it is really important and it is better to get used to wearing a helmet in their early years. I think the most important time to wear one is when they start on their own two wheeler bike. I think scooters and 3 wheelers are ok with out helmets when they are little and not moving fast. we are getting a wish bone bike for our bub for his 1st birthday. it lasts from when he is confidently walking until he is 5 yo. we are heading home and wondering if we should get a helmet for him there (aust) or maybe someone has seen good helmets here in dubai.
i guess my other question is, do kids on 3 wheeled walker bikes need helmets (he will only be in our compound)?
as i've seen lots of kids scooting around on these kinds of bikes without helmets on.
