Pregnant on IUD???
Hi all. I am quite depressed and my head is spinning. Here are the details, please bare with me.
I gave birth in May and had a copper IUD in August. Since then i had no problems. My period came after the IUD but it was light, frequent and VERY irregular. I cant remember when the last time was. A week ago, i noticed a flow of discharge. I was out of town and didnt give it a lot of attention. My stomache starting aching constantly like it does when i am pregnant, i became tiered all the time, sometimes nauseated and my nipples hurt when my DD feeds. Today i spotted. Dont know if it is a period or something else.
Is this normal with an IUD? am i over reacting? any suggestion/advice on what to do next?
I heard home pregnancy tests are not very useful when u have an IUD.
BTW, doing some research i found that mt gyne is supposed to teach me how to check the IUD threads, which she didnt mention, nor that she told me to come for check-up. Now i doubt that it is even inserted correctly.
Please share your thoughts.
