My LO is almost three months and my milk supply has decreased from an already low supply. I haven been pumping for the last 5 days every 2-3-4 hours and taking fenugreek almost for a week and no improvement. Also to make things worse, he decided not to latch anymore in the last few days, he cries if I offer him the breast when he used to love it before. Please help, I need to at least double my milk supply and I want my baby to latch, I really like to breasfeed him, I love the skin to skin contact......Any suggestions?. I am seeing a lactation consultant in 2 days.

Great that you are seeing an LC. She should be able to identify the underlying reasons and suggest ways to bring your supply back up. In the meantime, if you'd like to chat about your situation and get some immediate suggestions, may I suggest that you call the BFF helpline (if you're in the UAE)? Their nos are in the Breastfeeding Support in the UAE (June 2011) thread. You're also welcome to give me a call or drop me an email (050-4705577 5:30-9pm; [email protected]). I'm a registered breastfeeding counsellor and would be happy to discuss your situation with you and make some suggestions. Good luck, and please let us know how you get on! xx

It was here. They gave it to me at city hospital - a big old thing of it when I went home. Unfortunately they didn't tell me what it was for and I only realized when I was searching for a way to increase my supply when it was almost too late. But it did work for me.

that worked for me too. @Glenfiddich - was that here in Dubai? I had it back home but hoping they have it here too.

The hospital gave me Motillium when I had my twins, and it really worked. Google it.
