I see recommendations for Arabian Keys - they were actually the company sent out by RSA when my dh locked us out of the car and he was very good...has anyone used recently and is the number working?

any other recommendations, please as want to get a new lock for the maid's room as there is only one key and that spells DISASTER!

TIA Can't you just get a new key cut? you can just go and get a new barrel and put it in very easy. I second this - I do it every time I move - I change the locks on the doors myself. All you have to do is unscrew the retaining screw underneath the barrel, put a new barrel in and reinsert the screw. It is a 2 minute job, locks cost about 30 DHS from hardware stores. You need to set up a new business - female locksmiths: Juct call genie and Busybee! :D

Arabian Keys - 055 758 2123. Used earlier today with excellent service. 250Dhs is correct and that includes 5 laser cut keys and a german lock. Not quite the same as a Satwa lock but I guess there is always a choice! I always buy the good deadlock bolts not the flimsy ones - and they are only 30dhs or so, they come with several spare keys and I have never had a problem with the locks or the keys... Might set myself up as a locksmith on the side at those prices :D

250 dhs for a lock change- does this sound about right? yes i was quoted similar. compared to the uk, this is an absolute bargain! also - had some keys cut in satwa yesterday (emaar front door key) 10 dh FOR TWO!!!!!

Are you sure you can't have the key copied. Magic Key down in Satwa seems to be ablle ot cut any key I take there.
