here is the link how to clean amber jewelry, so I think the same will apply to the necklace. http://www.ehow.com/how_4968151_clean-amber-jewelry.html It says on the website as it soft (not stone, but resin), don't clean it with harsh chemicals. However, it just says that it will damage the finish, nothing about effect of amber, so I think your LO's necklace is safe :)

I usually put it around my lil girl's ankle at night and today it went into the wash with her night suit!!! Is it completely ruined do you think? Should I get another? (Just got this one too :() Obviously there's no info on what to do in this scenario from any of the official websites, coz, well, people are expected not to be idiots!!
