Is there anyone out there who has done IVF with low AMH? I'm going in April, this will be my third. My doctor so far followed the long protocol but I had low response to stims but he still want to go with the long protocol.
Anyone has had experience with this or anyone done short protocol?
TIA

Oh, the best of luck for you!!! My AMH is 0.4 so I think I'm still a little better off than you. Basically the long protocol means you take contraceptive pills for 3 weeks then you start suppression (Lupron injection) and after some days of Lupron or whatever suppression they use you start the stims for about 10 days, depending on your response. It seems you didn't have the long protocol if you went straight for the stims.

Hello. I have just finished my 1st IVF with Conceive. I have a very low AMH but they still managed to collect 4 eggs and fertilise 2 which both the Doctor and us were very pleased with, I know people who do not have a low AMH and only get this result. I am afraid I have no idea of the difference between long and short protocol. Basically I started my simms, then had ec after 10 days and then et 2 days later. I am now just waiting and praying like crazy. I was devestated re my low amh (0.2) but my response indicates it is still possible. If not for me this time I will keep trying but please god I dont. Wishing you the VERY best of luck xxx
