Hi, Welcome to Dubai.. I'm sure you'll love it here.. People are friendly and actually the stores and products aren't expensive but affordable. I am a mother of 4 children and let me tell you everything you need to know. For toys and games, there is toys r us and it has many branches in the uae to supply all your needs of all ages whether male or female. For clothes, accessories, strollers, you'll find plenty in the malls. (Dubai Mall and Mirdif City Centre are the best places to shop and they're all in one place/section of the mall, you wont have to run around south and north,, especially since the malls are huge here)! For beauty care, I advise you to use mama mio oil and butter both at the same time. They just launched here in the UAE and you can find them at polished__spa, the only spa that has mama mio. I used to ship them in from the UK but not anymore. I'm also doing the treatments to loose the belly and fats at the spa! I'm loving it and so does my husband. hehe. www.facebook.com/polishedspa.shj DO not use palmers as they caused rashes to many of my friends, probably because of the cocoa in it. But mama mio skincare has no parabens, full of omegas safe both for you and the baby and used by many celebrities such as Victoria Beckham and kourtney kardashain. I've got no stretch marks and im thankful to mama mio! Let me know if you have any specific questions you want me to help you when u get here! xoxo enjoy and congrats!

Thanks :-) We are moving from Denmark and here it is expensive and we probably only have a few luggage that we are bringing, so we won’t be able to bring a lot of stuff in the beginning. That is why we need to go and buy it when we get to Dubai.

Congratulations annemette! Where are you moving from? It may be worthwhile to buy many things before you arrive as I find baby items very expensive here.

Hello Ladies It looks like I might be moving to Dubai during the summer and my due date is in the beginning of September (I’m a first time mom :-)). So hopefully I won’t be in a big rush to go out and buy all my baby stuff. But maybe you can help me by telling me where to go shopping for baby things like clothes (I already have some, but I don’t think you can get too much) breast pump, baby oil (organic without perfume and parabens), toys, beds and all that baby and mother needs :-) Thanks in advance.
