Hey..had my appointment yesterday. I cannot thank all the ladies on this forum enough for all the posts on Dr. Muhammad. If it wasnt for you girls I wouldv never found out about him. I was extremely nervous before my visit and kept thinking how I would answer the "personal" questions in front of a male doctor (yeah m a shy looser ;) ) Also, based on my past experiences with the snobish gynes (sorry but most of them are just rude and cold) I always ended up in tears while talking about how we were trying to conceive for so long. I cannot believe that I left Dr. Muhammads room with a BIG smile on my face. I cannot praise him enough. He is comforting, practical, open to questions and also seems to be quite experienced in his field. Just like Dallydoo, we are not planing to consult anyone else after him :) He has prescribed some further tests for us after which we will discuss the treatments required. He has also given us an option to bring any recent ultrasound and blood test reports that we may already have so that we dont spend extra money (I could not get hold of them before the visit). This shows that he is also not the money maker type. I am really looking forward to the treatment now :)

Bo problem Busybee, Dr. Mohd & DGFC was the first clinic we went to so we were very lucky. We had decided that we would meet with Dr. Mohd first, see how we felt about him after the meeting and decide then if we wanted to meet with other Drs but we had such a nice meeting with him first time round that we decided just to go ahead with him. He is also very good at getting back to you if you have any enquiries which really put my mind at rest. I have heard that there are other clinics that are here too that are very good but we just decided to go with DGFC. Wishing you all the very best for your 1st appointment and let us know how it goes!

Hi Busybee, I have had treatment with Dr. Mohd and got my BFP last week! I found him to be excellent - informative, patient, understanding etc. Some ladies on here havent found him very attentive but I found him to be frank and honest. I went through times during the treatment where I had no idea what to do and depended 100% on his advice and I am so so glad we took all of his advice to the letter. If I hadnt trusted him completely, I wouldnt have taken his advice so literally. For my 1st appointment, I just took all test results that I had with me to give them a good idea of our situation. He asked me lots and lots of questions about any treatments we had had previously and he may ask you to do further tests in the days or weeks to come. Please dont worry, its more of a chat than anything else but I just found him open, honest and direct which is exactly what I needed after all the time we had been trying before and not being sure of what was happening. Feel free to ask lots of questions, ask him what line of treatment he recommends and why - its important that you understand everything and take notes if you want - I did and I was glad I did after as a lot of medications or terms may be used that you are unfamiliar with. The nurses are lovely too so dont worry - it'll be fine! Let us know how you go and good luck! <em>edited by Dallydoo on 09/04/2012</em>

Hi Ladies! We'v finally booked an appointment with Dr. Mohammad at DGFC. We have been trying for around 2 years and no luck. I have no idea about the doctors other thn Dr Mohammad who has been mentioned on this forum a few times I think. What should I expect in my first appointment. All they told me is tht DH will have a semen test :S
