DD (7 months) refuses to be spoon-fed solids so we offer her finger foods instead (which she's doing well with). Alongside the finger foods, I offer her pouches of Ella's Kitchen which she loves to suck straight from the pouch (but will not take from a spoon)! She helps me hold it and I squeeze into her mouth. I follow her cues and stop as soon as she loses interest / gets fussy. I'm a bit worried that this is a bad habit to get her in to. Interested to know what others think to this.

DS is two in June and if he's having a bad food day - as in refusing to eat and being a general pain in the butt to feed - he has an EK or two straight from the pouch! She'll get there. Maybe just try giving her a spoon and a little pot of solids to play with while you feed her from the pouch?
