Nursery summer camp - new age restrictions may be put in place... anyone?
Hi All... i have registered by 15 month old at his nursery to continue to go over the summer as we have a new baby on the way and think it is critical for him to continue on and not get used to being at home the whole time before the new baby arrives and then shunted off back to school feeling replaced by the new bub. I have just been told that the Ministry of Social Affairs has put in place an age restriction of 2 years minimum to attend any summer camps including at their own nursery. What happens to those of us that work, that are horribly sick and use that time to be in hospital (as is the case with me), and most of us who over the summer period need to give our little ones some different activities other than soft play with so few options to be outdoors in the heat. Has anyone else heard of this at their nursery? I can't imagine that all daycare will be shut down across Dubai over the summer for little ones under 2!?!
