I had umbilical surgery done myself last January. Not sure if my Surgeon works on kids too, but i feel he was good and ins. Did cover it. Dr. Naqvi (sp) at Motor City Medicenters. Surgery was at City Hospital

Hi MaxandMe, did you manage to find a Dr to operate on your son's hernia and how much did it cost, My daughter has an umbilical hernia which needs to be operated on, I saw Dr Mathias at Dubai london and was given a quote of about 22k as he was sure insurance does not cover it
