Hi I have been suffering from very high fever since morning...tried panadol but it doesn't seems to be working..I am breast feeding my 5 month ol DD..can I take voltaren suppository?? Or anything else...any advice will be greatly appreciated...haven't slept since yesterday night due to severe body ache...

In addition to that I would go and see a doctor if I were you, just to rule out that there isn't any bacterial infection that might need treatment. With both my children I was sent home after delivery with voltaren tablets to take for a week and once I had a high fever with my first born, that made me go to the ER (because it was shortly after I had delivered) and I was given a Voltaren shot then, but evenso I wouldn't take anything without consulting a doctor first.

You can alternate panadol and ibuprofen (advil) they are the two safest options, would maybe try that before the voltaren. Here is a list of pain meds and info on if they are safe for BFing mums. http://kellymom.com/bf/can-i-breastfeed/meds/pain-meds/
